With Democrats now controlling the House of Representative, expect more of these kinds of end-around attempts around the new Congress . Trump is planning to bypass Democrats in the House to pass cutbacks to Medicaid, a long-time goal of Republicans.
It is amazing how much health care costs. We need a better plan, such as Medicare for all. But kudos to Obama for actually doing something about the millions of Americans without health insurance. No other president in modern times got anything substantial done in this matter. We just need to take it further.
