Biden judged more honest than Trump; Harris more than Pence

No surprise that Joe Biden is judged to be more truthful than Donald Trump in PolitiFact’s public statement honesty ratings.

Or that Kamala Harris is found to be more honest than Mike Pence.

Or that Lyin' Ted Cruz lives up to the nickname Trump gave him. Calling Cruz that is one of the few honest statements Trump has made in the last four years.

But it is interesting how far down the list Trump, his son, and Cruz are. A whopping 73 percent of Trump's public statements were found to be lies or mostly lies. That's an astonishingly high percentage, though Cruz is not far behind at 65 percent. Trump's son is at 90 percent but has had far fewer statements reviewed than those two accomplished liars. Pence is also far down the list.

Barack Obama, by comparison, has had only 25 percent of his statements judged as false or mostly false. Biden had only 39 percent of his utterances deemed in those categories.

Amy Klobuchar, Mike Bloomberg, Andrew Yang and Elizabeth Warren are among the most honest politicians.
